Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-registration and registration duties; obtain demographic and insurance information and enter data into computer system; obtain signatures on medical, legal and financial forms.
• Assist in verification of patient insurance coverage and other data with third party carriers for scheduled appointments/procedures; help obtain patient’s insurance authorization; document approvals/denials in systems; collect money due at time of service; may perform billing and related functions.
