Alopex Powered by ShiFox is seeking a Patient Access & Eligibility Specialist to verify insurance, determine CCM/RPM eligibility, and handle administrative intake. This role serves as the front door to the care management program and requires strong communication and technical skills to navigate multiple systems.

You will work remotely with HIPAA compliance, supporting enrollment readiness, and coordinating with Care Coordinators and Enrollment Specialists.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare administration, patient access, insurance verification, or care coordination support.
• Experience verifying health insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Familiarity with CCM, RPM, or population health programs preferred.
• Experience working with EMR systems.

Aufgaben

• Answer incoming patient calls and provide professional, courteous assistance.
• Respond to patient inquiries related to care management programs and services.
• Manage voicemail systems by reviewing incoming messages and routing to the appropriate team member.
• Coordinate call routing to Care Coordinators, Enrollment Specialists, or other staff as needed.
• Ensure patient messages are handled promptly to support timely follow-up.
• Document all patient communications within the care management platform.
• Maintain HIPAA and patient privacy standards during interactions.
