Qualifications

• Health care or insurance experience.
• 1 year of Ambulatory practice experience.
• 1 year of experience with coding ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS.
• 1 year of Third-party billing and referrals experience.
• Prior experience in liaison role for providers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inpatient and outpatient surgical cases.
• Provide routine and complex financial counseling to patients.
• Research routine and complex referral and billing issues.
• Complete routine and complex encounter form coding for all surgical cases.
