Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years healthcare coding experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS for Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Experience with automated patient care and coding systems (Cerner EHR, Patient Keeper, PowerPath, PathNet, 3M).
• Competence with MS Office (Word, Excel, Zoom, Outlook).
• Reliability and ability to meet tight deadlines; capability to work remotely without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Code clinical documentation to capture accurate disease burden using ICD-10-CM and CPT guidelines.
• Review medical records and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for physicians and other professionals.
• Provide anatomic and clinical pathology coding services while meeting daily production and quality goals.
