This role offers a commission-based compensation model, with annual earnings typically between $150,000 and $200,000+, depending on invoiced amounts and billable hours, and an annual target of 1,700 hours. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. state bar license required.
• USPTO registration required.
• 4+ years of patent prosecution experience.
• Experience prosecuting patents involving electrical, computer, software, controls, or electromechanical technologies.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications involving electrical, computer, software, controls, and electromechanical technologies.
• Develop patent prosecution strategies to protect clients' innovations and portfolios.
• Prepare patent applications, amendments, responses to Office Actions, and other prosecution documents.
• Communicate with inventors, engineers, and clients to translate complex technologies into patent protection.
• Manage patent prosecution matters through the application and examination process.
• Support international patent procurement efforts including Europe, Asia, and other jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to deliver high-quality legal work while meeting billable requirements.
