Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator to install, configure, operate, and maintain networked systems for mission-critical operations. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and support patch management across enterprise environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 4+ years in patch management, and a Secret clearance. You will work in a professional remote office and collaborate with IT and security teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years in patch management or related IT role.
• Strong patch management principles and experience with WSUS and SCCM.
• Ability to pass a background check, Secret Security Clearance required.
• Experience with assessments, audits, and automated patch management solutions.
• CASTLE-NET IT environment familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the patch management process, keeping desktops and remote devices current.
• Ensure compliance with client policies and cybersecurity standards for patch deployments.
• Collaborate with end users, IT personnel and security teams for advanced patch management support.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, and execution of patch deployments to minimize disruptions.
• Develop and enforce standardized patch management procedures and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
