Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority seeks an OBRA/PASRR Occupational Therapist Evaluator to determine appropriate care settings for residents and perform PASRR evaluations. You’ll conduct outreach assessments, initial PASRR examinations, and make medical determinations using clinical data and documentation.

The role requires a Michigan OT license, 3 years of OT evaluation experience, and ability to work remotely with supervisory approval.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Three (3) years of full-time paid professional experience performing Occupational Therapy evaluations.
• Current State of Michigan OT license and a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Determine PASRR conditions and level of care for nursing facilities.
• Provide outreach mental health assessments per PASRR regulations.
• Perform PASRR initial examinations and clinical reviews.
• Use medical records, social history and treatment plans to make medical determinations.
• Document functional goals and plans for re-evaluation, discharge or admission.
• Communicate evaluation findings to clients and guardians.
