Job summary

The Unconventional is seeking a Pashto Distance Learning Associate Language Instructor to support live virtual DL instruction and program services. You will deliver instruction across listening, reading, and speaking, aligned to DLPT/OPI benchmarks, and develop engaging materials for ILR 0+ to 3 levels.

Candidates should be US citizens with native or near-native Pashto skills and experience teaching remotely using blended-learning approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering foreign language instruction via virtual platforms.
• Ability to tailor lessons to ILR levels 0+ to 3.
• Understanding of cultural, social, and political contexts of the language region.
• Strong classroom management and feedback delivery in online environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual Pashto instruction to improve listening, reading, and speaking skills.
• Deliver instruction on regional culture using blended-learning methods.
• Develop lesson plans based on POI and customer needs.
• Assess student work, provide feedback, and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain a professional online learning environment and track attendance.
