Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar is required.
- Minimum 5 years in a law firm focusing on casualty litigation (MVA, Trucking, Construction Defect, Auto Liability).
- Proven experience in trial preparation, depositions, and giving legal advice.
- Strong research and writing skills; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice to diverse clients on complex issues.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for case prep and strategy.
- Prepare for trials: gather evidence, coordinate witnesses, develop arguments.
- Take and defend depositions, examine witnesses, present evidence in court.
- Oversee litigation from start to finish ensuring compliance with laws and regs.
- Draft clear pleadings, briefs, and contracts.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior staff.
