Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or project accounting.
• Experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, payroll reconciliation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must reside in North Carolina, preferably within 90 minutes of Raleigh.
• Experience with Paycor, Harvest, or similar platforms.
• Experience billing for subconsultants and client invoicing.
• Familiarity with labor-based billing and project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly client invoices in line with contracts and schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers for supporting documents and billing status.
• Maintain accounts receivable records and monitor aging.
• Process biweekly payroll and HR-related payroll tasks.
• Develop Excel-based budgets, reports, and tracking tools.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial information at all times.
• Maintain documentation for subconsultants and payments.
• Provide financial analyses to leadership for decision-making.
