Job summary

Foodsmart is seeking a Part-Time Member Support Agent to handle inbound member inquiries, eligibility checks, and account issues from a remote U.S. location. You will guide members to the right dietitian, document interactions, and uphold data privacy.

Candidate should have strong communication, reliability, and HIPAA awareness, with a proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet scheduling windows.

Qualifications

• Remote work experience preferred: 1+ years in home-based or hybrid call-center role.
• Strong written communication; ability to convey complex information concisely.
• Experience handling sensitive information (PII/PHI) and HIPAA basics.
• Private, secure workspace with reliable internet.
• Availability Mon–Thu 11:00–17:30 PST and Fri 11:30–17:00 PST (8 PM a plus).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for inbound member inquiries and document interactions.
• Navigate FAQs and SOPs to resolve questions on the spot.
• Ensure member records are accurate and complete.
• Perform real-time eligibility checks while guiding benefits.
• Match members with the right dietitian and schedule appointments.
• Troubleshoot platform and account issues; provide basic tech help.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex problems.
