Job summary

Consciousabraxas is seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist for a part-time, remote telehealth role in Florida. You’ll provide individual, family, and couples therapy using DSM-5 criteria, develop treatment plans, and participate in supervision within a startup that aims to expand access to mental health care.

The position offers flexible hours, a W-2 arrangement, and remote work nationwide where licenses permit.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in your state of practice (LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience in outpatient mental health, substance use, or teletherapy preferred.
• Proficient in treatment planning, client engagement, and virtual communication.
• Organized, compassionate, and able to work independently in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual therapy to individuals, families, and couples.
• Use DSM-5 criteria to offer assessments and diagnostic impressions.
• Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans.
• Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing therapeutic support as needed.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team check-ins, and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and peers for case consultation.
