Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a part-time remote role based in Virginia. The ideal clinician provides telehealth services to children, teens, and young adults, with an active Virginia license and comfort working weekday afternoons/evenings.

You'll carry a caseload of 15–22 sessions per week, conduct intakes, and develop trauma-informed, client-centered treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia license (LPC, LPC-R, LCSW, or LMSW) required.
• Experience with children, teens and families preferred.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 15–22 sessions per week via telehealth.
• Conduct intakes and develop trauma-informed, client-centered treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists).
• Maintain timely documentation in our EHR and support families with education and care coordination.
