Job summary

Atlantic Health System, Inc. is seeking a part-time New Jersey Licensed HIM Coder to code inpatient records and support the CDI Team, while ensuring CMS compliance. This remote role covers approximately 22.5 hours per week.

The ideal candidate holds a CCS-AHIMA certification, with 2–5 years of ICD-10/DRG experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of EPIC and CAC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Inpatient coding of diagnoses and procedures with UHDDS validation.
• Collaborate with the CDI Team to ensure accurate capture and reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Codes inpatient records, capturing diagnoses, procedures, and validating UHDDS elements.
• Collaborates with the CDI Team to ensure optimal code capture and reimbursement compliance.
• Completes coding of all discharges, meeting productivity and accuracy requirements.
