Job summary

Columbia Southern University is seeking Part-Time Faculty in Financial Technology to teach online courses remotely. The position requires evening and weekend availability and reports to the Academic Program Director and Lead Faculty.

You will serve as a subject matter expert, develop engaging online content, and provide timely feedback through the Blackboard LMS. The role may include hosting live lectures and collaborating on curriculum updates for the department.

Qualifications

• English language knowledge of structure and content
• Knowledge of university guidelines, course descriptions and terms
• Office procedures and clerical basics
• Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook and Blackboard
• Ability to deliver engaging online instruction and assess students effectively

Responsibilities

• Teaches undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the qualified discipline
• Communicates with students to encourage engagement and course completion
• Hosts a minimum of two live lectures during the course
• Coordinates with Academic Program Director and Lead Faculty
• Provides timely feedback on student submissions using rubrics
