Job summary

Virtual Staff 365 is seeking an Ecommerce Admin Support Assistant for an Australian online retailer in home and garden. The role focuses on keeping product listings accurate, optimised, and performing, balancing catalogue management with ongoing SEO to boost organic growth.

Responsibilities include updating listings on Shopify/BigCommerce, image editing, data administration, and basic backlink/outreach tasks. Familiarity with AI tools and remote work setup preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in ecommerce admin, virtual assistant, or operations support
• Hands-on experience with Shopify or BigCommerce
• Working knowledge of on-page SEO fundamentals incl. keyword placement, meta tags, and internal links
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data entry, cleaning and formatting
• Experience editing product photos using Photoshop, Canva, or Photoroom
• Familiarity with AI platforms like ChatGPT or Claude for workflow efficiency

Responsibilities

• Manage and update product listings across Shopify and BigCommerce, including pricing, descriptions, and categories
• Edit, crop, resize, and optimise images for web use
• Upload and organise product images and digital assets across store channels
• Perform routine data entry and clean product information and customer datasets
• Maintain clean internal link structures, URL pathways, and category organisation
• Leverage AI tools to streamline administrative tasks and SEO workflows
