Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Part-Time Dosimetrist to support the Gulf Coast region from a remote position. The role involves developing and evaluating treatment plans with a focus on VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D planning, in collaboration with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists.

You will use Eclipse RTPS and ARIA software, adhere to compliance standards, and support a growing network of Texas Oncology sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• CMD credential preferred
• Two years of Eclipse TPS experience
• Two years of ARIA experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D planning
• Experience with RADCAL and RADFORMATION preferred

Responsibilities

• Generate radiation therapy treatment plans in a timely manner using computer software and imaging modalities
• Adapt to evolving technology and learn new systems and techniques
• Perform duties independently while consulting with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist as needed
• Communicate with therapists on plan implementation, immobilization devices, and treatment variables
• Design and fabricate immobilization devices and planning aids
• Demonstrate strong experience with Varian Aria for EMR and Eclipse RTPS
