Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist who will initially work onsite for 90 days before transitioning to fully remote work. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, completion of a dosimetry program, and certification as a Medical Dosimetrist. Experience with treatment planning systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a hospital or university-affiliated formal dosimetry program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a physical or biological science with 2 years of dosimetry experience.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist from the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Design radiation treatment plans including 3D conformal and IMRT.
• Assist with patient simulation and verify machine clearance.
• Participate in chart rounds and educational seminars.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of radiation therapy principles

Proficient in treatment planning systems

Knowledge of linear accelerators and CT scanners

Experience with Pinnacle, Mosaiq, MIM

Education

Graduate of a dosimetry program

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields
