Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Part-Time Dosimetrist to join our team. This position is fully remote and will support the Gulf Coast region in Houston, TX.

As part of a leading community oncology network, you will use advanced planning software to develop and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.

Ideal candidates hold CMD or have Eclipse ARIA experience and are proficient in VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D planning.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred or equivalent credentials.
• At least two years of Eclipse TPS experience.
• Two years of ARIA experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in planning VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D plans.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and imaging modalities.
• Adapt to changing technology and learn new systems.
• Work independently while consulting with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
• Collaborate with therapists on treatment plan implementation.
• Design and fabricate immobilization devices and beam-modifying devices.
• Utilize Varian Aria and Eclipse RTPS for planning.
