Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Part-Time Dosimetrist to join our team. This remote role supports the Gulf Coast region, primarily Houston, TX, collaborating with radiation oncologists and physicists to develop and evaluate treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will possess CMD credentials (preferred), experience with Eclipse TPS and ARIA, and strong communication skills for cross-functional teamwork in a dynamic oncology environment.

Qualifications

• Credentials as a CMD preferred.
• Experience with Eclipse TPS preferred.
• Experience with ARIA preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in planning VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D plans.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiation therapy treatment plans in a timely manner using computer software and imaging modalities.
• Adapt to changing technology and learn new systems and techniques.
• Perform duties independently but consult with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist as required.
• Collaborate with therapists on treatment plan implementation, immobilization devices, and other variables.
• Design and fabricate immobilization devices and planning aids.
• Experience with Varian Aria and Eclipse RTPS is a plus.
