Job summary

MCHAP seeks a part-time Chaplain to serve employees and their families at Plymouth Meeting, PA. The Chaplain will provide spiritual care, visit worksites, and support through crises, bereavement, and life events.

Requires ability to work with diverse groups, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license are required.

• Skills to effectively listen and interact with clients, employees, and families.
• Skills to deliver community presentations.
• Demonstrates Christian values and biblical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular visits to company worksites to interact with employees and build relationships of trust and friendship.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for problems of employees and their families.
• May assist in planning or attending funerals and provide post-termination support.
• Represents chaplain services to employees in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and funeral homes.
