Job summary

MCHAP is seeking a Part-Time Chaplain in Souderton, PA to provide spiritual care to employees and their families. The role involves visiting worksites, offering confidential pastoral conversations, and supporting grief, bereavement, and life-issues guidance in a Christian context.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting and with diverse groups.
• Strong listening and communication skills under stress.
• Spiritual maturity and active participation in a biblically based church.
• Proven ability to handle confidential issues with discretion.
• Proficiency with Google Suites / Microsoft Office or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular visits to company worksites to interact with employees and build relationships.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for personal and family issues.
• Assists in planning, conducting or attending funerals and grief support.
• Delivers literature and resources to employees about life issues.
• Represents ministry services to clients and participates in orientation activities.
• Responds to leadership requests within the scope of official agreements.
