Job summary

Swallowing Diagnostics, Inc is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to manage routine bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records. This flexible independent-contractor position may be performed remotely, in our office, or through a combination of both.

The role includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing financial reports. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel is preferred, with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting is required.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation and general-ledger practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Clear and timely communication.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts.
• Maintain current general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Keep digital financial records organized and secure.
• Communicate discrepancies promptly to leadership and accountants.
• Coordinate with leadership and other financial professionals as needed.
• Complete other mutually agreed bookkeeping tasks.
