Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Architect based in Pittsburgh, PA to support a variety of projects from planning through construction. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop design solutions and production documents using AutoCAD and Revit.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced consulting environment while communicating effectively with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and construction practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Assist with programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate architectural work with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable building codes and client requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct occasional site visits to document existing conditions and support construction administration activities.
• Assist with project scheduling, document management, and quality control reviews.
• Perform other related architectural and project support duties as assigned.
