Job summary

Avanta Works in the United States is seeking a Senior Architect for a part-time role, overseeing the design and construction of multiple projects, guiding a team of architects and engineers, and ensuring that all designs comply with client requirements and building codes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of architectural design experience, expert AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite skills, and strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design, with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
• Knowledge of US building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities for collaborating with clients, team members, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept development to construction completion.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
• Develop project proposals, including timelines, budgets, and resources required.
• Oversee the work of a team of architects and engineers to ensure high-quality design solutions.
• Conduct site visits and meetings with contractors to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and code compliance.
