Tetra Tech, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Architect to provide architectural design and technical support for a variety of commercial, industrial, municipal, and federal projects.

This position will work with multidisciplinary teams to prepare construction documents, develop design solutions, and support projects from planning through construction. The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture and 3+ years of professional experience, is proficient in AutoCAD and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and construction practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Assist with programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate architectural work with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable building codes and client requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct occasional site visits to document existing conditions and support construction administration activities.
• Assist with project scheduling, document management, and quality control reviews.
• Perform other related architectural and project support duties as assigned.
