Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting a high-volume transactional practice.
  • Experience with title and survey work.
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office (Word and Styles) and PDF applications.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills; able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with document management systems (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Document drafting: prepare initial loan documents and revise as terms change.
  • Legal research: perform title, survey, bankruptcy, and UCC searches related to real estate deals.
  • UCC preparation: prepare and file UCC filings.
  • Closings: prepare final documents, organize originals, and deliver post-closing loan docs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervising attorney.
