Job summary

Equivity is hiring a Remote Paralegal to support established law firms across a variety of practice areas. If you're organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple matters in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

You will manage cases end-to-end, draft and e-file documents, perform legal research, and coordinate discovery and trial prep, all from a home office in a flexible, remote setting. Strong writing and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent paralegal experience in a U.S. law firm.
• Experience supporting at least two practice areas.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong legal writing, drafting and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and e-file court documents.
• Conduct legal and factual research.
• Coordinate discovery and trial preparation.
• Track deadlines, hearings, and case calendars.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Keep cases moving by anticipating attorney needs.
