Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an experienced Paralegal to manage a caseload of Personal Injury and Wrongful Death matters from intake through trial and resolution. This REMOTE opportunity requires residence in California and coordination with attorneys and legal staff.

Responsibilities include managing cases, deadlines, client interviews, records, pleadings, e-filing, depositions, and trial materials. Strong Word/Excel/Adobe skills and 45+ WPM typing are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
• 1+ year of office experience; law firm experience preferred.
• Personal Injury/Wrongful Death experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and Adobe.
• Typing speed 45+ WPM; strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Handle e-filing and e-service
• Coordinate depositions and assist with trial preparation

• Conduct detailed file reviews and follow up on outstanding tasksMaintain case management systems and case records
• Research and gather information related to clients and cases
• Work closely with attorneys, partners, managers, and other legal staff
