Job summary

ICF is seeking a paid media intern to support a dynamic team servicing regulated client portfolios nationwide. You will collaborate with media strategists, buyers, data analysts, and operations specialists to drive energy efficiency and bill savings for residential and commercial customers.

This 10-week summer internship is full-time, with remote work possible and occasional in-person meetings in the DC/MD/VA area or near New York City. Relocation/housing is not provided at this time.

Qualifications

• By start date at least 30 credit hours in advertising, marketing (media), analytics, or related field.
• Completed bachelor’s degree with enrollment verification in a graduate program.
• Operational understanding of marketing tactics and cross-channel execution.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a rotational internship program across media strategy, digital media buying, campaign execution, trafficking, reporting, and operations.
• Support planning teams in paid media strategies, audience recommendations, and cross-channel plans.
• Contribute to deliverables by analyzing research, audience insights, and campaign results to inform optimizations.
• Gain hands-on experience with digital campaign activation across Google Ads, The Trade Desk, Basis, Meta, and other platforms.
• Assist with campaign setup, monitoring, optimization, and performance reporting alongside buyers/managers.
• Traffick creative assets and learn QA and implementation best practices across digital vendors.
