Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Junior Ads Specialist to join our remote Marketing team. You will set up and monitor paid ads campaigns across major platforms, track performance and budgets, and push automation and AI to improve results. This role reports to Growth Engineering and is based remotely in the EMEA region.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, drive lead generation, and stay ahead of trends in martech. Expect travel up to 4 times per year for internal events and sprints.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with ad platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.).
• Experience with campaign analytics tools.
• Experience driving successful lead generation campaigns.
• Experience with A/B testing and data‑driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing team members with setting up and monitoring paid ads campaigns.
• Monitor paid ads performance and budgets across the Marketing team.
• Build on automation and AI to improve paid ads performance.
• Develop Canonical's adtech stack to industry leading standard.
