Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a remote Project Manager for Amazon to provide packaging design direction, preproduction guidance, and brand packaging strategies. The role will oversee schedules, approvals, and interface with internal teams to deliver artwork mechanicals and print plates within Amazon timelines.

The candidate will coordinate with Amazon Account Manager, Graphics Coordinator and CSR, ensuring delivery across multiple projects and print methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in graphic package design.
• Strong project management and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Able to communicate differences between design and production execution to designers and stakeholders.
• Experience creating brand packaging strategies and understanding of different print processes.
• Strong skill level in design software, e.g. Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Attend team meetings with Amazon and partners to drive high end projects to completion.
• Oversee and provide artwork guidance for development of packaging.
• Provide technical guidance for initial packaging designs to designers and business stakeholders.
• Communicate design vs production execution differences to set expectations.
• Collaborate with designers, brand, operations and procurement to meet graphics and structural requirements.
• Initiate pre-production conference calls, create agenda, provide files and track tasks.
