Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Service Director to oversee biomedical service operations across the Pacific Northwest. The role leads a team of biomedical technicians at customer sites and requires residence in the region with remote work and travel to sites up to two weeks per month.

The position emphasizes leadership, customer relationship management, and delivery of high-quality service, along with knowledge of regional product lines and installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in medical services, or military equivalent with 4+ years, or an Associate’s with 6+ years, or HS diploma with 10+ years in medical services.
• Leadership experience that includes leading technical teams.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to work from home in a dedicated office space with high-speed internet.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact to customers for timely resolution of concerns across support services for the region.
• Maintain knowledge of region, coverage area, or product lines and coordinate with internal functions.
• Establish and maintain contact to provide ongoing technical and business support.
• Lead and develop talent, with direct people management responsibilities.
• Apply technical and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
• Understand cross-functional integration and competitive positioning.
• Propose solutions beyond standard parameters for complex processes.
• Mentor colleagues and manage performance expectations.
