Job summary

Slalom, a global business and technology consulting company, seeks a hands-on P&C Insurance Product Manager to translate insurance needs into technology-enabled product capabilities. You will partner with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize development, and bring new products to market.

The ideal candidate combines strong Property & Casualty knowledge with practical product management in a fast-moving team, including ownership of roadmaps and release

Qualifications

• P&C insurance domain knowledge.
• PM experience in a technology environment.
• Experience bringing new products or features to market.
• Hands-on with PRDs, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features.
• Direct collaboration with software engineering teams.
• Ability to translate complex insurance needs into actionable tech requirements.
• Comfortable owning outcomes in a small high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Translate insurance needs into clear product requirements.
• Develop PRDs, specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlogs.
• Partner with engineering through design, development, testing, release.
• Own discovery, prioritization, roadmap inputs, and release planning.
• Evaluate trade-offs and align stakeholders on scope and priorities.
• Support launches and ongoing product improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, insurance SMEs, and business leaders.
• Apply AI-enabled or specification-driven development practices where appropriate.
