Slalom is seeking a hands-on P&C Insurance Product Manager to translate insurance business needs into technology-enabled product capabilities. This role partners with engineering and business stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and bring new products to market.

The ideal candidate combines strong Property & Casualty knowledge with technology product management experience and thrives in a small, fast-moving cross-functional team. Compensation is hourly, with remote work and EST hours.

Competenze

• Strong Property & Casualty insurance domain knowledge.
• Product management or ownership experience in a technology environment.
• Experience creating PRDs, requirements, product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features based on business value.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with software engineering teams.

• Translate P&C insurance and customer needs into clear product requirements and capabilities.
• Develop PRDs, product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
• Partner with engineering throughout design, development, testing, and release.
• Own product discovery, prioritization, roadmap inputs, and release planning.
• Evaluate product trade-offs and align stakeholders around scope and priorities.
• Support the launch and continued improvement of new technology products and features.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, insurance SMEs, and business leaders.
