Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a licensed P&C Broker to support placements across Management Liability, Cyber, and Professional Liability. This role can sit remote, hybrid, or in-office, with a preference for candidates on the East Coast or near an NFP office.

You will manage your own book, grow technical expertise, and advance to a more specialized broker over time. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of insurance experience and a foundational P&C knowledge.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex coverage concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Foundational knowledge of P&C coverages; exposure to management liability, cyber, or professional liability is preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn quickly and build technical expertise over time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate broking around renewal cycles in line with service model standards.
• Support placement of Management Liability, Cyber, and Professional Liability programs.
• Negotiate with carriers for competitive terms and pricing.
• Prepare submissions, respond to underwriter inquiries, and evaluate quotes.
• Analyze coverage options and present recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, coverage comparisons, and client-facing materials.
• Respond to client inquiries and support issue resolution.
• Review binders and policies for accuracy of terms.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and renewals.
• Develop relationships with carriers, wholesalers, and internal partners.
• Build knowledge of professional liability market trends including cyber and management liability.
• Support cross-sell and upsell opportunities across NFP’s platform.
