Job summary

System Six, a fully remote accounting firm, seeks an experienced multi-client Controller for the Enterprise Accounting Delivery team. You will own financial reporting, compliance, audits, and accounting operations while mentoring a team of accounting professionals.

Based in India, you will work 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET, coordinating with US clients and internal teams. Growth, leadership, and high-quality service are emphasized in this remote role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of overall accounting and finance experience with at least 3 years in a Controller role at a US-based public accounting firm.
• Experience supporting investor-backed or high-growth businesses with > $5 Million annual revenue.
• Deep technical proficiency across US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and US compliance including payroll, sales & use tax, property tax, and business licenses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the outsourced Controller for a portfolio of US-based clients.
• Onboard new clients and build out accounting processes, systems, and procedures.
• Prepare and review timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports.
