Levis Building Components is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow our business across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and potentially other western markets. This remote role requires extensive travel and a proven record in roofing/construction sales.

You will represent the Levis experience to customers and vendors, develop new wholesale relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to identify revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience selling in the roofing or construction related industry.
• Strong understanding of metal roofing systems and industry trends.
• A good understanding of the construction markets in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and networks.
• Reside in or near the assigned western region and be able to travel regularly throughout the territory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Proven track record of attaining and exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Levis experience to customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Identify and engage potential wholesale customers in need of metal roofing accessories.
• Establish, maintain and expand relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular sales calls, prospecting, industry networking, customer recommendations, and other sales activities.
• Handle customer questions, issues and concerns, and seek to resolve them in the most cost-effective and timely way possible.
• Work with the inside team to identify new revenue streams and opportunities to expand with national distributors into new areas.
• Actively prospect for new business throughout the assigned region and other western markets as needed.
• Prepare weekly and/or monthly call reports as required.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch & learns as needed.
• Travel at least 75% of the time throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, with occasional travel to other markets for business development, training, seminars and trade shows as needed.
• Develop a reasonable but aggressive sales forecast for the region that enables the company to reach its profit goals.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate to our customers the advantages of our products and the additional value provided by our services.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through account management, effective prospecting and relationship-building strategies.
• Posses the ability to present, promote, and sell product line to all potential customers.
• Demonstrate excellent selling and communication skills to clearly convey the benefits of Levis products and service to potential customers.
• Respond expeditiously to new potential opportunities, making contact within 24-48 hours.
