Job summary

Muir Tapes & Adhesives, a Canada-based specialist expanding into the Great Lakes USA, is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to cover the Great Lakes region. This hunter/farmer role focuses on growing revenue, forming durable customer relationships, and delivering adhesive solutions to manufacturers.

The position is remote with a full-time schedule, offering a starting salary of $90,000 plus commissions and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, technical, or production environments.
• Proven success in new business development and account growth.
• CRM experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience selling adhesives, tapes, converting solutions, industrial products, packaging, automation, MRO, engineered products, capital equipment, industrial distribution, or other manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new manufacturing and industrial customers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Develop account plans to increase share of wallet and customer retention.
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to implementation.
• Coordinate product trials, quotations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with technical, customer service, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Forecast accurately and achieve revenue and margin objectives.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customers and generate new business.
