Job summary

LYRASIS seeks an Outreach and Engagement Coordinator to support our hosted services portfolio, including ArchivesSpace, CollectionSpace, DSpaceDirect, and DuraCloud Preserve. You will guide libraries, archives, and museums through inquiries, quotes, and contracts with professional guidance as a nonprofit provider.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of library systems, including archival, preservation, and digital asset management systems.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with self-directed initiative and strong time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Consultative, strategic approach to outreach and client relationships.
• Understanding of open-source software development lifecycle.
• Experience interacting with software engineers and business teams.
• Strong oral and written communication; comfortable presenting in-person or virtually.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and thorough task execution.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of client-facing work experience.
• Experience with archive/library technology, open source.
• Experience presenting remotely (Zoom, WebEx, etc.).
• Experience with MS Office and/or GSuite and website editors or CMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead outreach process from inquiry to contract completion.
• Conduct consultative interviews to determine client needs and deliver quotes.
• Coordinate with institutional contacts to meet contract and procurement needs.
• Introduce clients to technology with tailored walkthroughs.
• Communicate onboarding status and priorities to teams.
• Serve as central liaison with partners and internal teams.
• Prepare clear written responses to RFPs/RFQs.
• Make presentations at conferences or events.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
