UASI is seeking an Outpatient CDI Specialist to support coding accuracy and HCC capture in a fully remote capacity. The role emphasizes clinical judgment and documentation integrity.

You will review records from physician practices, utilize Epic/OPAs, and monitor CDI outcomes. Strong RN/LPN license and at least 2 years ambulatory CDI experience are required.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years in ambulatory CDI or related healthcare documentation.
• Active LPN or RN license required.
• Certifications (CCDS, CCDS-O, CDIP, CDEO, CRC) preferred.
• Proficient in Epic workflows and OPAs.
• Strong ICD-10-CM and HCC knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME in outpatient clinical documentation quality and HCC coding.
• Perform prospective reviews of records to validate chronic conditions and accuracy.
• Use Epic and OPAs to identify opportunities and support coding integrity.
• Track work queues and ensure timely CDI interventions.
• Monitor CDI outcomes and reporting to identify improvements.
