Prosum is seeking a Fiber Network Engineer to support design, documentation, and management of external fiber infrastructure across a large telecom network. The role emphasizes outside plant (OSP) design, route engineering, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate has fiber network planning experience, GIS-based tooling familiarity, and strong collaboration with engineering, GIS, and field operations teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent telecom experience.
• 3–7+ years of fiber network design, OSP engineering, or telecom infra experience.
• Experience with network inventory or database systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Design fiber routes for services including point-to-point, ring, and path-diverse topologies.
• Create fiber schematics for new builds, relocations, and restoration projects.
• Plan fiber splicing and construction requirements for field install.
• Review existing network records to support design and optimization.
• Maintain accurate fiber network inventory across routes, enclosures, and assets.
• Update fiber circuit data in inventory and database systems.
• Collaborate with OSP, GIS, Sales Engineering, and Visualization teams.
• Assist relocation, restoration, and infrastructure modification efforts.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across technical teams.
