Job summary

US Signal is seeking an experienced OSP Engineer/Construction to support large-scale fiber projects and develop cost estimates for complex deployments. The role involves site assessments, bid packages, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on engineering designs and contract negotiations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on fiber construction knowledge, permitting experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects with vendors, while maintaining pricing databases and supporting sales

Qualifications

3+ years' experience with OSP and project management.
Strong knowledge of fiber construction and OSP records documentation.
Experience with permitting workflows and local telecom regulations.
Ability to interpret and apply regulations for telecom infrastructure.
Experience coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Maintain records for US Signal OSP fiber assets and audits.
Provide design assistance for fiber installation and maintenance.
Project manage assigned load including new construction, maintenance, relocation.
Assist in easement/right-of-way negotiations and permit requests.
Site walks and field surveys for fiber build projects; review construction prints.
