Job summary

Cable One is seeking an OSP Designer II to create broadband system designs cost-effectively while adhering to Cable One standards. The role involves preparing detailed CAD/GIS drawings and working with Technical Operations, Construction, and Engineering to support design services.

You will design HFC plant extensions, update as-builts, and deliver complete design packets promptly, while learning new software and handling multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with at least five years of related experience.
• Outside plan design, construction, or GIS experience preferred.
• GIS applications knowledge (ESRI) and Schneider design software following Cable One standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design new and existing HFC plant extensions.
• Perform base drafting.
• Read walkout information accurately.
• Update as-builts as construction is completed.
• Deliver complete construction build packets on time.
• Learn new software and adapt to new technology as required.
