Placements24 is seeking a Remote Organic Skincare Product Developer to conceptualize, formulate, and bring to market a new range of premium organic skincare products. You will work from a remote location with our product development team to create formulations using plant-based ingredients and sustainable practices.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in skincare formulation, deep knowledge of natural ingredients, and experience with organic certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• At least 4 years of skincare formulation experience focusing on organic/natural products.
• Experience with botanical extracts, essential oils, and natural ingredients.
• Knowledge of organic certification standards.
• Experience with stability testing and preservative systems for natural formulations.
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative organic skincare formulations using natural ingredients.
• Source and evaluate organic raw materials ensuring COSMOS/ECOCERT compliance.
• Research natural actives and sustainable ingredient alternatives.
• Formulate serums, moisturizers, cleansers, masks, and balms with stability and efficacy.
• Conduct benchtop testing, stability studies, and preliminary efficacy assessments.
• Collaborate with marketing to align development with brand vision.
• Ensure regulatory standards for organic products are met.
• Scale up formulations with manufacturers; prepare technical docs.
