Job summary

Centene is seeking a Senior Regulatory Policy Analyst to review, interpret, and summarize legislation and regulatory updates for multiple products at federal and state levels. You will coordinate with SMEs, track changes to rules, and advise stakeholders on compliance implications.

The role emphasizes Oregon-focused work with some travel to Salem. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in health insurance, legal or compliance are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in health insurance, legal, compliance
• Experience reviewing regulations and interpreting for varied audiences
• Experience with commercial health insurance or behavioral health managed care preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and interpret legislation at federal and state levels; communicate findings to affected departments
• Perform risk assessments affecting business applications and downstream output
• Lead Rule Advisory Committees and feedback submission to Oregon Health Authority
• Manage annual restatement as business owner from proposal to implementation
• Support OHP contractor workgroups; respond to RFIs and coordinate SMEs
• Attend monthly DFR meetings; ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate communications
• Draft responses to objections to regulators; collaborate with cross-functional partners
