Job summary

ABB is seeking an Order-to-Delivery Business Lead to own on-time, in-full delivery end to end—from demand to shipment—co-owning with an SAP solution lead. Located in North America with remote work across the US/Canada, you will drive changes, run short experiments, and report results to key stakeholders, including SAP, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Operations.

You will lead prioritization of fixes, influence stock rules, and collaborate across plants, distribution centers, and system teams.

Qualifications

A degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related field.
8+ years in manufacturing or distribution in planning, scheduling, inventory, fulfillment, order management or operations; includes 3+ years accountable for an operational result such as on‑time in‑full, fill rate, promise accuracy or inventory.
You can follow an order from demand to shipment across plants and distribution centers, and say where it gets stuck. Make‑to‑stock, make‑to‑order or both are valued.
You have traced delivery misses with data, found the real cause, and made a fix that stuck.
You use SAP hands‑on in order fulfillment as a user, power user or process lead. SAP design or configuration is not required.
Experience building your own data tools, such as analyses, dashboards, automations or AI workflows, and others use them.
You demonstrate curiosity, willingness to adjust, and openness to new information in the face of ambiguity.
You demonstrate impact by sharing an outcome with a peer and building partnership rather than ownership boundaries.
Effective communication skills with ability to move between a plant manager, a sales leader and an SAP team in the same day.
Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

Own on-time, in-full orders; protect the target from excess inventory or padded lead times.
Find root causes of missed orders using data and fix causes rather than expediting symptoms.
Set priorities for fixes, builds, switches off or replaces, including stock allocation rules.
Manage change across plants, distribution centers and system teams outside your direct reporting line.
Run short experiments of one to two months and keep what moves the number while dropping what does not.
Report results honestly to business leaders, including what is not working.
