Job summary

ABB is seeking an Order-to-Delivery Business Lead who will own on-time, in-full delivery end to end for a high-volume manufacturing business. You will co‑own with an SAP solution lead and have authority to change processes, rules and systems to move the number.

This remote role can work from anywhere in the US or Canada, with travel to plants, distribution centers and the Cary, NC office. You’ll report to the VP of IT and collaborate across Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Distribution,

Qualifications

• A degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing or distribution in planning, scheduling, inventory, fulfillment, order management or operations.
• Experience with end-to-end order flow across plants and distribution centers.
• Experience using SAP in order fulfillment.
• Experience building data analyses, dashboards, automations or AI workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own one business outcome: orders shipped complete on the committed date.
• Find root causes of missed orders using data and fix causes rather than expediting symptoms.
• Set priorities for fixes, builds, stock allocation rules and process changes.
• Manage change across plants, distribution centers and system teams.
• Run short experiments of 1–2 months and keep what moves the number.
