Job summary

AFL seeks an experienced Oracle Business Analyst focused on Finance to join our global ERP & Business Applications team. In a remote role, you will report to the Director of ERP & Business Applications and drive innovation in Oracle EBS across finance operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and deliver Oracle-driven solutions in a fast-paced, globally connected environment. East Coast hours are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of experience as an Oracle Business Analyst (R12), with strong exposure to finance modules.
Experience configuring Oracle applications and preparing compliance documents.
Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and tax systems.
Experience with ServiceNow ITBM and SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

Understand, document and optimize finance-related processes (AR, AP, GL, SLA, Tax, Audit).
Translate business needs into Oracle specifications and configurations.
Design Oracle solutions for financial reporting, invoicing, tax compliance (Vertex) and electronic billing (Billtrust).
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure configurations meet regulatory requirements.
Lead workshops to gather requirements and develop test plans for financial modules.
Support internal audit and JSOX controls through documentation and controls.
