Job summary

Forward Air Corp. in Dallas seeks an experienced Oracle ERP Financials Analyst to own configuration, testing, and delivery of Fusion Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA) in an on-site environment.

You will partner with Finance to document requirements, lead end-to-end designs, support integrations, and guide Agile delivery while ensuring data integrity and security across financial systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis with focus on Oracle ERP Financials (Fusion Cloud preferred).
• Experience supporting/configuring Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA).
• Strong understanding of finance/accounting processes (close, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash).
• Experience with system integrations, data migration, and reporting in Oracle Cloud environments.
• Hands-on Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban/Lean).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary analyst for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Subledger Accounting (SLA)
• Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
• Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and implementation for Oracle ERP enhancements and projects
• Analyze current-state processes and design future-state solutions aligned with Oracle best practices and business objectives
• Develop and maintain detailed process maps, functional specifications, and system documentation
• Support and troubleshoot production issues, including root cause analysis and resolution of ERP and integration challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Procurement, Sales, IT, vendors) to deliver integrated enterprise solutions
• Design and support integrations between Oracle ERP and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, or custom solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery execution
• Provide leadership and guidance on system capabilities, optimization opportunities, and digital transformation initiatives
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including executive sponsors, and drive consensus on solution direction
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making and system enhancements
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across financial systems and processes
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and best practice development

Qualifications:

• Education: Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university required.
• Certification/Licensure: Preferred Oracle Cloud ERP certifications (Financials Cloud, Fusion Applications) or Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis, with a strong focus on Oracle ERP Financials (Fusion Cloud preferred)
• Proven experience supporting and configuring Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA)
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including financial close, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash
• Experience with system integrations, data migration, and reporting tools within Oracle Cloud environments
• Hands-on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Lean methodologies)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to bridge technical and functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead enterprise-level initiatives with minimal direction
• Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling and protecting sensitive information.
• Technical: Proficient with common office technologies, including Windows PCs, Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and web conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)
• Environment: Comfort commuting to/from and working in a 100% on-site setting (listed in this posting), with travel for related meetings/events.
